     The 7th house, an Angular house, is the house of Marriage and Relationships and is naturally associated with the Masculine Libra, a Cardinal Air sign, and its ruler is the Beautiful Venus.

     The 7th house is opposite the 1st house where matters of the Self are the concern and relates to the Other people in my life with whom I enter close association.  It is the house of my social consciousness and cooperation or the lack thereof.  Contracts, including marriage and other relationships, adversary encounters and law suits, are housed here.  Partnerships in business and in life are 7th house matters.

Sagittarius in the 7th House explained...

  Sagittarius is naturally associated with the Masculine, is a Mutable Fire sign, and its ruler is the Wise Jupiter. 

     The Sagittarian influence in the 7th house yields a reluctance to be hemmed in by marriage or other formal partnership entrapments.  This hesitancy to be tied down is a result of my concern for growth. 

     I do require a good deal of freedom and flexibility in my approach to life.  Fortunately, I often attract a woman who also shares this need for liberty.  Marriage will come because of my true need for soulmate companionship more than a need for sex or mothering or security although I do enjoy all experiences.

     With Jupiter ruling the marriage house this becomes another area of the chart that is blessed with good fortune for me.  There is a freedom seeking quality to my quest for marriage and I am attracted to a woman that is very independent and free-wheeling; she's out there.

Mars in the 7th House explained...

     Aggressive Mars naturally rules the Masculine Aries, a Cardinal Fire sign, and is placed in Masculine Sagittarius, a Mutable Fire sign whose ruler is the Wise Jupiter. 

     The 7th house that Mars resides in represents the area of my life that I'll express actions and desires for relationship.  My energies and initiative will be spent focusing on the affairs of marriage, relationships, and my soulmate companion.  Mars is assertive, sometimes causing conflict.  The 7th house periodically becomes a problem area for me in this regard of conflict due to my choices.

     The Mars 7th house placement often shows problems in marital relations and in dealings with business partners.  I did get married at a young age and too quickly without due forethought.  My marital partner, close friends, and business partners are sometimes possess aggressive natures and impulsive behavior stemming from these relationships is usually predictable.

Venus in the 7th House explained...

     Beautiful Venus naturally rules both the Feminine Taurus, a Fixed Earth sign and the Masculine Libra, a Cardinal Air sign, and is placed in Masculine Sagittarius, a Mutable Fire sign whose ruler is the Wise Jupiter. 

     Venus in the 7th house shows how I express myself socially, romantically, and artistically in the different areas of my life circle.  Venus brings a sense of harmony, refinement, and aesthetic taste to the 7th house it occupies.

     My Venus in the 7th House normally shows social abilities and usually a happy marriage, at least for awhile.  Most intimate relationships are harmonious and friendly due to their deep nature.  Marriage and friends are very important to me and I contribute more than my part toward the success of relationships; maybe too much at times.  Marriage usually produces prosperity in one form or the other.  The 7th house position is favorable in (although not indicative of) activities involving dealings with people, such as psychology, sales, and public relations.

 
Venus in Conjunction with Mars explained...

  The conjunction is formed when two planets are at approximately the same degree of the same sign, typically no more than 8 degrees.  In a conjunction, the energies of the two planets are combined, and often the result is a strengthening of both.

     The conjunction between Venus and Mars shows a strong desire nature needing expression.  While the second half of my life has toned me down as I need, I am still the aggressor in relationships with women and I am ever eager and aggressive in making social contacts as well.  Artistic endeavors are an active outlet for my hyperactive nature.

Mars Squared with Pluto explained...

     Squares occur when two planets are approximately 90 degrees apart.  Square cause the friction and the hurdles that causes us to grow and become productive.

     The square formed between Mars and Pluto produces a forceful nature.  Often my actions can be described only as reckless.  Yet I am cautious and secretive about my projects, especially as I mature and develop.

     When frustrated, I can become abusive and display much temper.  This aspect suggests that my sexual drive is strong and may not be well controlled at times.

     This is a very physical aspect needing control and channeling.  When I can control my actions this aspect can be positive as it shows a penchant for eliminating, by force, the unacceptable and unnecessary in my life.  I can develop a very focused concentration on progressive issues if I choose.
